Adolf Käis changed the light comedy and simple story of Eduardo de Filippo's play into a storm of fireworks with music, dance, pantomime and ballet (inviting the Giraffe pantomime troupe as well as the Estonia National Opera and Ballet dancers to perform), not afraid of mixing the high and the low, most primitive body language with high aestheticism, blending them all together into a witty and touching whole.
