by C.Gozzi. Directed by Elmo Nüganen, Tallinn City Theatre 2007 (costumes and sets together with Iir Hermeliin)
After many a serious classic, Elmo went back to Italian comedy. Everybody expected a re-issue of his famous "The Love for Three Oranges", but what he did this time was something different: a gorgeous fairy tale instead of a social critique, a huge feast of visual surprises where high and tragic action was blended with farce. The City Theatre is situated in the centre of the old town, in historic buildings. This production was made in open air, in the inner courtyard of the theatre, all of it became a part of the scene and played along.
